You control your training journey, selecting from an expansive list of topics and skill sets. Our seasoned instructors can guide you through Tactical Training, Dynamic Rifle and Pistol Training, Home Defense Strategies, Vehicle Defense, Active Shooter, Civilian Response Training, and much more.

Whether you're looking to bolster your tactical skills, enhance your home security, or prepare for potential threats, A+R Tactics is equipped to deliver comprehensive and effective training.

A sleeved shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are required for all Tactical, CCQB, Shoot House, or Vehicle Training.

For marking rounds scenario training, participants must also wear a long-sleeve shirt, jacket, or hoodie.

Mat classes require a sleeved shirt (no tank tops) and bottoms that cover the knees, such as leggings or sweatpants.

Private Tactical Training

$200 - 1.5 hr

  • Tactical or Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Training focuses on the tactics and techniques required to effectively operate in confined spaces where quick decision-making and precision are crucial. At A+R Tactics, our Private Tactical Training sessions allow you to customize your experience

  • You have full control over your training journey, with the ability to choose from a wide range of topics and skill sets tailored to your needs. Our experienced instructors will guide you through essential CQB techniques, including Dynamic Rifle and Pistol operations, Home Defense strategies, Vehicle CQB, and Active Shooter scenarios. Whether you’re focused on enhancing your tactical abilities, securing your home, or preparing for potential threats, A+R Tactics provides comprehensive, personalized training to help you achieve your goals.

  • Please bring mechanic or tactical-style gloves. A shirt with sleeves, long pants, and closed toe shoes are required for training and long, loose layers such as hoodies, sweatpants, light jackets, or loose-fitting jeans are required for the marking rounds scenario training portion of your training.

    You’re encouraged to bring a water bottle and any snacks you may want during your session.

    You are also welcome to bring your own kit, Glock 17 compatible holster, and weapon-mounted or handheld lights.

    A Glock 17T training pistol or AR-15, marking rounds ammunition, and all required PPE will be provided.

    If you plan to train with a rifle, you may bring your own AR-15 chambered in 5.56. Please leave your bolt carrier group at home. No live bolts are permitted in the training area.

    Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a shirt with sleeves are required for all shoot house training. Tank tops, shorts, sandals, and slides are not permitted.

Private Team Tactical Training

$350 - 2 hr private training session for two participants, $175 per add’l participant

  • Join forces with a friend or two for our Private Team Tactical Training! This private session is designed for each of you to learn and work together, mastering the skills needed for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and firearms handling. Tactical Training focuses on the tactics and techniques required to effectively operate in confined spaces where quick decision-making and precision are key. At A+R Tactics, we tailor these sessions to your specific needs, ensuring a customized and immersive training experience for you and your friend.

  • A two hour private training session for two individuals or more with training session ammo included.

  • We offer a monthly group class where women come together to learn practical personal safety techniques. At the Women's Training Institute (WTI), we don’t prescribe what you should or shouldn’t do; instead, we empower you with options, techniques, and strategies to analyze situations and respond in a way that best suits you. By the end of the training, you'll be equipped with a plan and the confidence to handle situations such as harassment, threats, stalking, and abuse—whether from strangers or someone you know.

    If you have blade trainers or a Glock 17-compatible holster, feel free to bring those along as well.

    You can train without firearms,

    A Glock 17T training pistol, marking rounds ammo, and all necessary PPE will be provided for your session.

  • No prior experience is needed for any of our trainings at A+R Tactics. Our instructors take the time to understand your goals and skill levels, providing personalized training to meet your needs.

  • Training with a firearm is completely optional. Our Women’s Training Institute can be tailored to focus entirely on unarmed self-protection. If you choose this option, your scenarios in the Shoot House will not include firearms and will instead focus on empty-hand techniques and practical strategies for defending yourself without a weapon.

Firearms 101 / Handgun Fittings Private Training

Self Protection Private Training

This training includes essential elements such as threat profiling, de-escalation techniques, and proactive prevention strategies, all aimed at empowering you to take control of your safety and respond effectively when faced with danger.

  • Our Self-Protection classes are tailored to your specific training goals and needs. We cover key topics like effective striking, defense against common strikes, chokes, and grabs, as well as specialized training with self-defense tools such as neck knives and firearms. You'll also learn grappling techniques for weapon retention and draw. Emphasizing a mindset-first approach, we integrate elements from combat sports like Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to help you recognize, evaluate, and respond to potential threats effectively. All topics are customizable to ensure you get the most out of your training experience.

  • Train individually, with a friend or spouse, or as part of a larger group. Additionally, women have the option to join our monthly Women's Self-Protection Training group class for a supportive and empowering experience.

Advance Cancellation: For all types of training, private training, classes, shoot house experience, group reservations, party reservations, etc, we require cancellations to be made at least 48 hours in advance. This policy is crucial in managing our limited availability effectively and allows others the opportunity to join.

  2. Account Credit for Timely Cancellation: If you cancel before the 48-hour deadline, we will credit your account with the amount paid. This credit can be used towards any future training, class, shoot house experience, group, or party reservation, providing flexibility and value for your investment in our services.

  3. No Refunds Policy: Please be aware that we do not offer refunds. However, the account credit system ensures that you can still benefit from our services at a later date that suits you.

  4. Late Cancellation Consequence: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled training, private training, class, shoot house experience, group reservation, party reservation, or other services, will result in the loss of your payment for that class.

  5. Cancellation Methods: We have streamlined the process for canceling or rescheduling your training reservation by offering three convenient methods:
